How much do photography cameras cost? And what am I looking for in one?
- Here are some good model to get amazon.com / gp / redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=amazon.com / s?ie=UTF8&redirect=true&ref%5F=sr%5Fnr%5Fi%5F0&keywords=digital%20slr%20camera&qid=1256451857&rh=i%3Aelectronics%2Ck%3Adigital%20slr%20camera&tag=computer0bd - 20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957
- It All Depends On What You Want Out Of Your Camera. Nikon, Canon, Pentax And Sony All Make Nice Cameras. If You are Looking For A Nice Entry Level Camera, I Recommend The Canon XS. Best Bang For Your Buck. 10 MP, 7 AF points, And 3 Frames A Second. Cost Is About 600. Another Camera Entry level I Like Is The Pentax K - X, New To the Market Is Is A Nice Well Rounded Camera. Though It Is A Little More Pricey At The 700 Hundred Mark. Mid Range The Nikon D90 And Pentax K - 7 Are Both Good Cameras Cost is Between 1300 - 1800 Advacne SLRs I Lean Towards Nikon D300 s 1700 - 2100 The Advice I Would Like to Give Is This, Shop Around And Take a Feel Out Of each Of the Cameras That Fit Your Hand, Balance And Weight you Like, Plus Have The Things That Are Important To You. I Can Go On And On ON Any Camera In The SLR Form. Do Not Worry About Megapixel, Anything Abouve 8 Is Fine For Most People. Do Not Let A Salesperson Pressure You Into A Camera That Is Not Right For You. Start looking And Learning. If It Takes You 6 MOnths To Deicde, Thats Good, It Means You Will Get What You Want. Shutter Speed And Focus Is Important, And Lens Selection And Quailty. Ease Of use Will Vary WIth Person To Person. Just Remember, If you do not Like How It Feels, Or Behaves In The Store Then You Most Likely will not Like It When You Get It Home. I Hope This Helps. If You do not Want To Go That High But Want A Decent Camera, The Canon SX20 Point and SHoot Is a Good Starter Camera. Takes 4 double AAs But with 20x optical Zoom It is A Very Capable And Reliable Camera. Anything Canon Is A Good Choice In the Point And SHoot Form. Canon Sx120, SD 1200 Are All Good Starter Cameras. I Wish You Luck And Happy Shooting
- I will have to ume that you mean a fully adjustable camera, so you are looking at either a 35 mm SLR or DSLR B&H Photo has good equipment at reasonable prices. Craigslist has good used 35 mm SLR cameras. Nikon and Canon may be the best choice since they have the largest camera systems available
- From $1 at a dollar store up to $37. 000 Decent compacts start around the $100 mark, but are mostly automatic and under bad light conditions probably will not work well. Bridge Cameras offer the functions of a DSLR without the ability to switch lens in a compact body. Superzooms on the other hand have their biggest selling point in a HUGE zoom. Up to over 400mm effective. Both these do around $500 DSLR's begin at about $600 for a nice kit and there are many brands worth buying. With many different ideas, take for instance Panasonic and pentax using the fourth third sensor smaller then what most beginner DSLR"s offer they have a smaller body, smaller lenses and are lighter. Great for those who hike allot. Sony offers some real old style here with a basic body design with inbuild image stabilisation and focussing engine. With as greatest offer that you can use some of the best old second hand lenses. Canon and Nikon are the market leaders and well that is as good as I know about them really. I like underdogs ; $2000 is about the point where the full frame DSLR shows up, bigger sensor and much sought quality. Also requires more expensive lenses. For most buyers out of reach $3700 ah the medium format sensors. a really big whopper of a sensor with the ability to capture so much light. Big cameras big lenses and it is all quite darn expensive indeed. But the images are godly!
- This is too general of a question. What kind of camera are you looking for? Digital? Film? Point - n - Shoot? SLR? Prices ranges from $100 - $35, 000 I suppose ideally, you are looking for a camera with high MPs 10, easy to use features, scene modes, video, good looks. Just browse the Point - n - Shoot section of Amazon for a while. I am sure you will find something
