what is the best brand or model of digital camera for serious photography students, that would be within a decent price range? any reccomendations?. a digital slr from either nikon or canon is usually the best for the serious digital photographer. both companies make digital slr's in all kinds of (photography gallery)

i am looking for a good online cl to learn more on photography. i understand a little about apertures and shutter speeds. if you have a lot of light you need a smaller aperture bigger f / stop number. i just do not know what aperture and shutter speed to (product photography)

i would love to go to school for photography and i think it is realistic to say that i have somewhat of a gift in photography. the problem is, i am generally not artistic. i can not draw, paint, or sculpt. the only visual art i am somewhat skilled in (online photography)
